The Land

Kakheti - Where Vines
Have Grown for Millennia

Nestled between the Greater Caucasus mountains and the Alazani river valley, Kakheti is the heart of Georgian viticulture. Here, more than 70% of the country's wine is produced - and the land remembers every season, every harvest.

Archaeological discoveries dating back to 6000 BC confirm Georgia as the oldest continuous wine culture on Earth. The same clay vessels - Qvevri - buried in monastery courtyards today are echoes of those first fermentations.

The Craft

Qvevri: The Ancient
Art of Amber Wine

The Qvevri is not merely a vessel - it is a philosophy. Beeswax-lined, buried to the neck in earth for temperature regulation, these egg-shaped clay pots allow wine to breathe, age, and develop complexity impossible to replicate with steel or oak.

UNESCO recognized the Qvevri winemaking tradition in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage. We believe this ancient method produces some of the world's most remarkable, food-friendly wines.
